Dźwiękopunktura™ Is Not Acupuncture Without Needles

Dźwiękopunktura™ Is Not Acupuncture Without Needles

One of the most common misunderstandings I encounter when speaking about Dźwiękopunktura™ is the belief that it is simply acupuncture performed with tuning forks instead of needles.

I understand where this association comes from.

Both methods use the same meridians and the same acupuncture points. In both cases, knowledge of Chinese medicine and its way of understanding the human being is helpful. In both therapies, the organism is not treated as a collection of separate organs, but as a whole connected by a network of mutual relationships.

However, this is where the similarities largely end.

The Same Map, a Different Path

I like to say that acupuncture and Dźwiękopunktura™ use the same map, but move across it in a completely different way.

In acupuncture, a mechanical stimulus is introduced into the point. The needle affects the tissues, and the organism responds to this stimulation with a series of neurological, electrical, and biochemical reactions.

In Dźwiękopunktura™, the point is not mechanically stimulated.

It is not about pressure.

It is not about the strength of vibration.

It is not even about how long the tuning fork remains in contact with the body.

What matters most is the information carried by the relationship between two sounds.

More Does Not Mean Better

Many people assume that a tuning fork should vibrate very strongly in order for the therapy to be effective.

It is a natural association.

We are used to thinking that a stronger stimulus means a stronger effect.

A stronger massage.

A stronger pressure.

More stimulation.

In Dźwiękopunktura™, however, this way of thinking leads us astray.

If information is what matters most, then its effectiveness does not depend on the force of impact, but on the quality of the message.

After all, the most important information in our lives is not conveyed by shouting.

Sometimes one calmly spoken sentence changes more than hours of noise.

It is similar here.

The organism does not need to be forced into a reaction.

It needs to receive the right information.

Why I Do Not Look for Points “for a Symptom”

This misunderstanding leads to another mistake.

If we assume that a tuning fork works like a needle, we will automatically start looking for points “for migraine,” “for insomnia,” “for tinnitus,” or “for stress.”

This approach is very popular today.

Ready-made schemes are created.

Lists of points.

Quick recipes.

The problem is that the same symptom can have completely different causes.

Two people may suffer from insomnia and still need entirely different support.

One may be struggling with depleted resources.

Another with excessive tension.

A third with the loss of the organism’s ability to find its own rhythm.

The symptom is the same.

The path leading to it may be entirely different.

That is why in Dźwiękopunktura™ I do not look for a frequency for migraine, tinnitus, or anxiety.

I look for the relationship that has been lost.

I look for the place where the organism has stopped remaining in its own Axis.

Because when the relationship changes, what we previously called the symptom often changes as well.

It Is Not a Substitute for the Needle

Dźwiękopunktura™ was not created to replace the needle with sound.

It emerged because information can be transmitted in many ways.

For me, the most interesting question was not how strongly to stimulate the organism, but what information to offer it.

This is the very question from which the path leading to the creation of Dźwiękopunktura™ began.
